Try to shop at farmer's market for produce. I also find that Asian grocery stores tend to sell many items for cheaper than you would find at other common grocery stores.

Hey guys! I'm a Canadian student that will be attending Illinois State University for an MSc. I was hoping for tips on how to get ready to move over there (opening bank accounts, finding housing, etc), as well as things that in hindsight, may have been done better when you were moving.

You're uGPA is shocking, but I think the fact that you got into and excelled in your Master's program says a lot more about you. I think that unless the programs you are applying to have high cutoff for uGPA, they will look at your time during your Masters degree more.

Hey guys,
I am a Biology and Psychology student in Canada and I am applying to Biology Masters programs. My area of interest is Animal Behaviour, which in most schools falls under Biology, but in my school it's taught by the Psychology department. Thus, i've only taken 6 bio courses. I took the Bio GRE in hopes to show I still had a good understanding of bio, but I ended up getting in the 52 percentile. I already arranged to have the score sent to four schools, and I was wondering how badly this may hurt my changes.
Extra Info
GPA: 3.13
Bio GPA: 2.8
Psych GPA: 3.3
General GRE
-Verbal: 158/78%
-Quant: 157/69%
-Analytical: 4.5/78%
Research Experience
-Animal Behaviour Lab course: ran a research experiment in a group of 3 over one semester
-Currently completing an undergraduate thesis
School's I think I'm applying to

-Texas Tech
-U Wyoming

Thanks for your help!!
Experiment Scheduling

Hey guys, I was hoping for some advice on keeping track of different stages of my experiment.
I will be doing fieldwork involving checking bird nests for nestlings, and will need to perform experiments on them different days post-hatching. There are a lot of nests, and I was hoping someone used some sort of calendar/appointment app that could help me keep track of which nests need a certain procedure done on a specific day.
If anything, whatever scheduling app suggestions are helpful.
Thanks!
