have not heard yet --- i'm too scared to ask my references if they've been contacted? do you guys know usually how that process works?
  2. That's so exciting. I took a Performance Studies class where we followed Schechner's book.
  3. Hi ! I'm MA in Art Ed -- have not heard from fin. aid, anyone have any idea if the info is coming soon as everything is contingent on that !
  4. Hi all - I am an undergrad graduating this may applying to a grad program (Columbia MFA) and their FAFSA deadline is Feb. 15th. I am filling FAFSA as an dependent for the first time and they are asking for my 2013 IRS income tax forms and I have no idea what to do. Up until last summer I only ever did work-study. Last summer I worked at a camp and made 2,000dollars and that's it in terms of my income. I am really freaking out since I need to make the Feb. deadline and have no idea how/where I can file for tax returns... my employer from the summer has not given me information yet/is this feasible/any advice would be tremendously appreciated. I apologise for how silly this might sound!!
  5. Thanks so much! One last thing is JPEG ok or is PNG better!
  6. Hi everyone thanks so much for the responses! So the images are viewed on a mac monitor instead of the computer being hooked up to a projector and viewed on a larger screen? I actually can't believe I've never asked an admissions person about this in general haha. I got this info from someone regarding projectors in general: highest resolution for a projector is 1900x1080 72dpi and some could be as low as 800x600 72dpi. So, to be safe I guess make sure it looks really good at 5MB 72dpi and not larger than 1900x1080 ?
  7. Hi everyone ! I hope all is well with the New Year's. This is rather urgent and a bit stupid but what is the protocol for Resolution size of the image for Slideroom.com for paintings? I am also preparing a portfolio for other applications and the consensus is 5MB (Slideroom and poking around MFA website) max per image. I am at 72DPI and want the images to not have to be stretched our or too big when the Admissions look at them -- anyone have any experience? 1718 × 1860 pixels okay? too small? 2650 × 3195 pixels too big? Thanks so much and good luck everyone!!
