Is it common for FPA's to notify the students who were recommended early? I want to ask my adviser so bad because I'm sure he probably knows by now, but I don't want to annoy him any more than I already have. I'm jealous of those who already know. My heart has been pounding since I woke up this morning....!!!!

Is it sad that I've been completely bummed since we got word that there were over 10,00 applications submitted? :-( Dang it Fulbright you have just MESSED WITH MY EMOTIONS!

Okay I just heard back. Unfortunately, he seems just as surprised that we haven't heard by now as we are! He was told "mid-January" and stated that all he has to go by now is the January 31st date that the Fulbright website states as well. BUMMER! Sorry guys! :-(

Yeah, I'm thinking Friday the 24th for sure. I feel like they would prefer to tell people on a Friday evening so then they have the weekend to think about their decision or lack of... etc. Anyone else agree?

Hey everyone! I've been following this thread for a while to stay updated, but finally decided to create an account and comment. I have also been extremely nervous and excited to receive an e-mail from IIE, so I can relate to the insomnia and nightmares! Anywho, wishing everyone good luck!
