Thank you guys. And if I join CMU next Spring and if I don't do an internship, will it affect my chances of getting a good job? As I said, the courses offered in Embedded Systems at CMU are far better than those at GaTech, which is preventing me from saying no to CMU. Please throw some light on it!

I have received admits from GaTech for fall 14, and from CMU for spring 15, and I'm confused about which one to choose. I wanna specialize in Embedded Systems/Comp Arch. The coursework in CMU looks very attractive and it offers a more practical/project oriented approach in comparison to the courses at GaTech. Moreover, there are limited options to choose from in GaTech, to specialize in Embedded Systems. So course wise, CMU >> gatech. But since I have a spring admit, I won't be able to get an internship after the Spring semester, which, I'm afraid, might affect my job prospects ( plus, I don't have any work experience ). So in this case, GaTech>CMU. With respect to the cost, I guess I can afford both of them. Both options with their pros and cons look equally good, and bad. Please give me your opinions! Especially about joining CMU in Spring.
