Hello! I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to call or email the school to see when I will have an answer regarding my application. I had a job interview today that seemed to go very well. It was with a company and team of people I have worked for in the past and I DON'T want to burn bridges. August and September are the company's crunch months and it would be enormously bad to leave them in the lurch at that time and go to school in the Fall. Grad school would still be my preference, but I have no idea what my chances are of getting in. If I knew I was going to school in September I think I would pull out of the competition in order to avoid leaving the employer on bad terms. This way they could hire someone else they have interviewed. I'm worried about starting the job and finding out a few weeks later that I am going to school and then they would have to hire someone they said no to. The online application indicates that I am under admission review currently and, according to the school's website, I should hear from them in 1 to 3 weeks from now. Any thoughts?
