Thanks, visoke and blueskies for replies. I didn't get into UCLA. I'm thinking of deferring on the place I did get into (for various reasons)... anyone know if that's a possibility for these programs?

I am still waiting to hear from 6 schools... Cornell, UCLA, Stanford, UC Irvine, NYU, New School. Has anyone heard anything about any of those?

i also applied there and haven't heard back yet.
