I know this has been brought up on the board before, but what do people think about the chances of being moved from alternate to principle status? I was notified recently that I am an alternate for the ETA in Norway. I have to sign my contract for work soon and am not sure if I should wait to hear about the Fulbright. Thanks for any input!

Hi all, I'm new to posting but have been reading along for the past few weeks. I'm looking for some advice: I was recommended for an ETA in Norway and have an interview on Thursday. I was recently offered a teaching position at an International School in India. They need an answer in the next few weeks! If I accept, then I'm out of the running for the Fulbright since I have to sign the contract. Thoughts? Does anyone know exactly how many people are recommended? I guess I'm trying to figure out how good a chance I have of getting the Fulbright? Thank you so much!!!
