Hey, I had chosen Computational Science. I had applied around the first week of Jan though. From what I have asked my seniors, candidates were waitlisted last year, since there were many applicants. No as far as I know, there was no interview. Not sure how would it be this year. When did you apply? I found out that the decisions were out around 12th March last year. Thanks.

CMU Mech out yet? Anyone? The mail what I received from the admission committee in Feb said that it would be made available by 15th March. Pasting what email quoted: MS admissions decisions are usually released by the second week of March. Email alerts will be sent shortly after decisions have been made. You may continue to check the status of your application online through the Apply Yourself website and we would encourage you to do so often.

I just called the admission office a while ago. They informed me that all acceptances are not out yet.They still have admits. She also told me that they will hopefully put up the official notification late next week in the website. So it's not over yet! More waiting.

I don't think all the admits are notified. There was this case last year wherein a candidate only obtained his official admit not by mail or from the POI but on the website when the official declaration date was due. In our case, may be the 15th of Feb. So let's hope for the best.

Well, I don't think all of the acceptances are posted in the results page since not all accepted individuals are a part of the forum! So any content or two on that page would always mean not all but many acceptances being sent out.
