Classical Archaeology here, but my interests have a significant visual focus, so I'm between archaeology and art history (I suppose you can't really have one without the other in an interdisciplinary world). My area is primarily Greek art and archaeology. I've applied primarily to Classics programs with a couple Art History thrown in.
Classical Archaeology as well. Good luck in your applications, looks like we have a little overlap (UVA).

Haha this. Seriously, very slow. Makes it hard to gauge when to start stressing full-time, since I don't think I'm quite at the point yet
Not sure if it makes any difference whatsoever based on one school, but Notre Dame's anthropology department sent out an email awhile ago saying they got about 70-ish applicants. Struck me as a bit low for a fully-funded program, though, the less the merrier I suppose!.

I've been emailing back and forth with a POI. Today, he asked me send him a paper I'd written on a specific project we'd been discussing that was pretty similar to research he had underway on bioelectronics. So I attached the file to an email and sent it over. But about half a second after I pressed send, I got this horrible feeling. I went to my sent mail folder to check, and I was right - I had accidentally sent him a picture of my penis instead. How do I even go about apologizing for this? And even if I do, is this relationship salvageable? Fuck!!
Hopefully you applied to Blue Mountain State.

I hang out with Glenlivet, Johnnie Walker, John Jameson....only kidding. Well, maybe on the weekends. Sometimes long work hours aren't so bad. I've never done so much OT.
