I have 2 friends of mine wait listed at Ottawa... Do someone knows how many people got in on the wait list last year ?

I'm out too... For future applicants: don't trust them if they contact you and tell you that you have a strong dossier I am very sorry for everyone who have been rejected and I hope you'll find another great school which will see a great SLP in you. COURAGE !! Thanks again for spending this crazy time with me I made my inscription to UQTR earlier this week. I'll be a SLP anyway. Good luck to people who are still waiting for an answer and to those wait listed !

Anyway, congrats to everyone who gets in, you all deserved it and special good luck to Speechykeen Thanks to PsychD who was their to cheer me up every time and to kk also, a special congrats to you ! Good luck to nicolafloo, you still have you chances to get in ! Don't be sad for me, I'll gonna be an SLP anyway, I got in at UQTR !

If they now gives answers to the persons on the wait list, I think that's it for those who have no answer yet, including me !

I also wanted to go to McGill because the research, I can do SLP + one year in research... I had a few chats with 2 professors last month about that and they seemed to be interested in me... they contact me on their own ! That is why I am so disappointed to have nothing yet ! They told me I have a very 'strong dossier'... I don't understand... Anyway, CSD seems to be a great place to do research, when you'll come back, PsycD, let me know how you found the school and the people there !

So you'll have to make a choice between Psyc, SLP and CSD PhD ? Harder than make a choice between universities !

Thank you CaraL for the information and PsycD for preserving our hope ! Maybe they had some problem with the automated process... It looks like 2 people got in since 2 days, and I feel that some more people should have reported their acceptance on this forum if massive offer was already done...

I sent an email this morning to McGill about my application status and they said that «final decisions will be posted by early next week» and my application status went from 'submitted' to 'in review'. Some people I know will be interviewed next week at Ottawa.

Thank you PsycD and kk for your support ! I know that I should be relieved after my admission at UQTR, but I can help myself but to be anxious about McGill. My heart is with McGill... Good luck everyone who's still waiting !

Thanks PsycD ! Being accepted somewhere brings a true relief! Last week my classmates and I were going crazy, waiting for interview calls and answers from some universities. Courage kk, paidean, PsycD and everyone else who applied at McGill. This is the last week to wait !! trejsi: I know exactly how you feel... It is sooooooooo long to wait until April 1st ! We've been waiting for this moment for years !
