  1. I'm also in a similar situation. I might have heard back sooner if the college didn't lose my transcript and one of my letters of rec, which they eventually found after two weeks, and that was a month ago. I'm calling Friday if I don't hear by the end of tomorrow. It's frustrating when everything is in on time and setbacks like this happen. I don't think it was wrong to call if you have other deadlines waiting.
  2. An opportunity came up today that I'm now looking into as a possible option. My dad's employer offers employees and family of employees certain discounts through colleges in the area now and again. The discount is 40% off tuition and waived application fee if you enroll in a master's or post-baccalaureate degree program in education. I had not considered Drexel until this opportunity came up, but I feel it would be a university to explore further. At this point, I don't see any harm in applying and seeing what happens since the fee is waived. I've heard good things about Drexel in the past, but not specifically about their education programs. My ultimate goal is to become certified in special education or as a reading specialist, but in my state I need initial certification before I can be accepted into a program, which is what I would be applying for at this school. What is your opinion of Drexel or what have you heard from others about the university and its education program?
