Would anyone who has been accepted into U of T be interested in me creating a Facebook group for us all to connect with one another on there, and throughout the academic year? I did it for my BSW classmates and we all found it very helpful in resource sharing, collaborating and exchanging info etc.
I think that would be a lovely idea - I would definitely be interested.
As an extra note, I also received an acceptance email from the University of Calgary today - I've already accepted U of T, so that will open up at least one from the wait list at Calgary

FYI those waiting on Laurier - got a rejection letter from Laurier this morning. If you haven't gotten one yet, maybe you've been wait listed - Keep your heads up

Hopefully this doesn't stress people out, but I figured if I had applied to Carleton I would want to know. A couple of people I know who applied to Carleton Advanced Standing MSW got conditional acceptance today

I'm a candidate for the two-year program and have still yet to hear anything. This is VERY good news!!

They had applied to the 1 year program, so I'm not sure how that relates to the two year program, but no news is good news for now

Just as an FYI, I found out from a few friends that they received rejection e-mails from Carleton last week.

I applied to the one year program. I do know someone who didn't hear from Calgary last year until quite late in the game, so take that for what it's worth.
