No, no, no! Don't apologize. I didn't mean to imply what I said was your internal monologue. Totally might have been that quiet voice of overly-optimistic hope going through my head when I found out schools interview for different reasons, however And it makes sense that they would. I haven't heard anything, from anywhere. So I'm just anticipating the worst. I've heard low expectations mean you either get to be correct, or pleasantly surprised! Win-win??

@SaraB - Not sure that my renewed hope that "maybe I was just so great I didn't need to be interviewed" will be beneficial in the end, but at least my momentary grief period kicked me into high gear for a plan B. Hopefully I'll be better prepared (mentally) for the outcome either way now.
