EECS with concentration in Integrated Circuits

I'm seeing other acceptances on the results page now. Anyone know if M.Eng grant offers are to come later?
Edit: Nevermind. Just received a followup email an hour later with funding offer. Good luck everybody!

I just got the email decision. No word on funding

It was about 30 minutes long. No technical questions. Just a discussion about the program and why you want to attend.

Hi. I did my interview this past weekend. It was just a chat with a current MEng student. I don't know if the interview is any indicator of where our application stands. Good luck !

I think this year would be different, the pattern suggests they will notify MSc only tomorrow; so if still no words , next week are for the rejections. I myself expect and accept defeat by now as I haven't heard them back yet for my PhD and today I have seen many MSc admits who aimed PhD (
Last years trend looks like the MSc only applicants should have another week until they hear back. I admit, it doesn't look good...but we can't give up just yet!
Computer Science, UCSD VS UCLA

Both are excellent schools. I attend another UC campus and know the 2 locations fairly well.
I also got into UCLA and UCSD for EECS and would choose UCLA if those were my 2 choices.
Los Angeles is a huge emerging tech hub and is said to be the next "Silicon Valley." From my short research, there are many more software start ups in the LA area such as Rapgenius, Snapchat, Occulus (which was just sold to Facebook).
Hackathons are also starting to become a huge deal for software engineers. UCLA's hackathon (http://www.lahacks.com/) is one of the more popular ones in the nation and draws countless companies and recruiters.
These are all positives if you're trying to get into the whole start-up/social media side of software engineering with your CS degree.
If anyone has a counter argument in favor of UCSD, please do share! =)
