Anyone have updates for China? My field is Industrial/Organizational psychology. This waiting game is torture!

Attention to those who are still waiting for Virginia Tech. Dr. Foti emailed me this morning that they've extended 3 offers but only one took the offer. The other two people will make their decisions by next Monday, and then she will let wait list people know. Good luck to you all!

So I guess I'll take FIU off my list. I'm not comfortable with their lack of communication either. Emailed POI twice, called once and left a voice mail. No response. At this late of the season, I'm not keeping hope for them either. Now knowing that they'er not taking any new students at all just made me feel very disappointed. All they have to do is to state that upfront so I don't have to waste my time.

Anyone applied Florida International University? Any updates from that school?

No I haven't. And i won't get my hopes too high either...

For those who did not see the status update on Virginia Tech's banner site, you may be on the wait list. I checked with the department and they told me I'm on the wait list. They've extended offers but the candidates haven't made their decisions yet. Let's wait and keep our fingers crossed!

You would love UMSL! I've visited their campus before and it's gorgeous! People there are very nice as well.

Bren thanks for your quick reply! Odd...in my Application Data it only has: Admission Term, Admission Type, and Date Created. Then it goes to "Requirements" There's not a Decision tab in my summary... maybe I should call the department and ask.

Hey guys, I also checked my status on the Virginia Tech banner site but there's no update. It did not say whether i'm rejected or accepted. It's just a summary of my application materials that's been received. Where did you guys find out about your status?

Iopsychohmygerd, I'm also accepted by FIT but they have not told me anything about funding yet. Roebuck1 and iopsychohmygerd, did you guys received the acceptance letter from the admissions office? I got one through email and they were asking for a $300 deposit "immediately". I'm still waiting to hear back from two other schools, but FIT's letter did not specify any deadline of when to get back to them. Do you guys know when we are supposed get back to them about our decisions?

I emailed Dr. Dalal and that's how I found out about the rejection. The next day I got the generic rejection email.

Just got my official rejection email from UConn. I've been contacting them since November last year. I've tried email and phone calls but today is the first time I heard from them. Not a very pleasant experience.

Anyone heard from Colorado State? I saw someone was offered a flew-in interview last week, and another person was rejected today. I haven't heard anything from them so I called the department. They told me there's no interview or open house so far. Can anyone tell me if you have any news from Colorado State, Virginia Tech, or University of Connecticut?
