Also, just for stats: I got a 165 (91st percentile) on the quantitative and 158 (78th percentile) on the verbal sections.... BLAH

Yah, I am definitely taking all advice with a giant pile of salt. I'm just especially nervous because UM accepted me with out funding. I am not going to accept that offer unless they fund me. I also heard that they usually send out rejections before they send out acceptances, so the fact I haven't got rejected yet is good news.... THANKS

Hey all. I'm freaking out waiting on decisions for Computer Science PhD programs, with a specialization in the theory of computation. My background is: B.A Mathematics with a minor in computer science, Brandeis University 2013, GPA: 3.0 B.S Computer Engineering, Florida International University 2014, GPA 3.3 I am a National Science Foundation Open Science Data Cloud 2013 Fellow, and I have 3 years of research experience, but no publications yet. I have led a session at a conference though. I applied to: University of Miami (accepted but with no financial assistance at this time, but they said funding might open up...) U Cali: Davis U Cali: Irvine Emory Duke Florida State University Do you guys think I have a good shot of getting funded at any of these universities? Thanks in advance.
