Hey, I have applied to GAtech my gre is 155Q and 154V analytical 3.5 I have Ugrad gpa of 3.56/4.00 and if excluding the first year it will be 3.8/4.00 Toefl is 111 do anyone of you think I have shot at getting in I have also applied to Umass amhears and Uni of Houston for chemcial engineering . I am really tensed and would be glad to get some insight

I have a GRE score of 155Q and 154V my GPA is 3.56/4.00 with an A grade in all major subjects and as i mainly messed up in my first year my cumulative GPA of the last three years is 3.8 . I am aplying for master in chemical engineering, what are my chances of getting in. and should I look for another school to apply to or just give up hope, I have applied to :
Umass Amherst
Georgia tech
University of Houston

Hi, okay so MIT had emailed me asking for my recommendation letters as all of them were late, now my teachers sent them in although they were all pretty late but I just wanted to ask that does that mean that other parts of my application were fine enough for them to consider me?
I got a rejection from MIT fews days back so im just curious could it be because of my recommendation letters if so I can probably change my referees for the schools who have not yet reviewed my application . Please somebody do let me know
