I also got rejected for Germany for a study grant. But you know what - 10,000 applicants applied for Fulbright, only a few then get to the finals round. It's tough for the committee to make these decisions and I figure all of us were deserving of pursuing our projects. I'm so thankful to have been through the whole process and I know I'm still going to make a positive impact on the world in my future, with or without a Fulbright in hand.
