  4. Hi, I am accepted into the Masters Program of CMU and UT Austin. My area is Integrated Circuits. CMU Program is partially funded and hence the cost of both the colleges will be same. Barring the cost, which program should I opt. Thanks

  9. Hi, Area of Interest: Circuits I have already got admission in CMU ECE PhD program with full funding. I have also applied to other higher ranked schools and I am still waiting for the results. The deadline for Texas A&M Electrical is 1st March. Moreover, its tuition is low. Should I apply there to be safe ? But I do not wish to take a loan for studying. And is it better to have two options to choose if things change at the last minute? It may take around 6 years to complete the PhD program. while just 1.5 or 2 years in TAMU for its MS program. I dont want to go into academia.
  10. Thanks for the info. But i think when someone replies with respect to Texas A&M University and keeping in mind the whole picture, there will be better discussion.
  11. Area of Interest: Circuits Both schools are strong in Electrical. My aim is to get a job after graduation. But I do not wish to take a loan for studying. It may take around 6 years to complete the PhD program. while just 1.5 or 2 years in TAMU. CMU PhD is a fully funded program. TAMU fees are on a lower side. Which option is better?
