  1. So....Here's the thing. I've applied to Clinical Psy.D programs (received one rejection, and one upcoming interview so far) and I'm wondering how much past research experience counts. Of course, I know it's a huge bonus and gives anyone the upper hand, but what are my chances if I have absolutely none? During undergraduate, I didn't consider doing research much- I just didn't think I was at that stage in life yet to conduct research or participate in research opportunities. I imagined it would come later, in high education programs. So basically, my question is...How bad does it look during a Clinical Psy.D interview to have no past at all research done? I can take brutal honesty!
  2. Thank you so much! :] Good luck!
  3. Hi everyone, I'm brand new here. Going through (and obsessing) over these forum threads, I'm noticing a lot of focus on POIs. I'm wondering-does anyone know how important POI is for Psy.D programs? (ie. to mention during interviews) I have an upcoming interview (March 10) at Nova Southeastern University for their Clinical Psy.D program and I am trying to get myself acquainted with the interview process before I go! Thanks!
