So....Here's the thing. I've applied to Clinical Psy.D programs (received one rejection, and one upcoming interview so far) and I'm wondering how much past research experience counts. Of course, I know it's a huge bonus and gives anyone the upper hand, but what are my chances if I have absolutely none? During undergraduate, I didn't consider doing research much- I just didn't think I was at that stage in life yet to conduct research or participate in research opportunities. I imagined it would come later, in high education programs.
So basically, my question is...How bad does it look during a Clinical Psy.D interview to have no past at all research done?
I can take brutal honesty!
