Congrats, and yes I'm going to NWU too. Basically I can't really tell you much as I am coming from Australia, but unless you are from Chicago area, I suspect we are going to be going through the same processes.
I'm just trying to get a handle on the city, where to live, etc. etc. at the moment (though someone in my programme has said around Andersonville etc. is where many of the grads live). I suspect some of the posts on the city in this forum might be useful if I ever find the time to read them!
