  1. I am attending the Sanford School of Public Policy this Fall and right now I am most concerned and stressed out about living situations...where do I want to rent an apartment? Any and all thoughts are appreciated! I would like to be near campus, within biking/ driving distance I think?? (depending on if I want to bring my car?) and want to live in a complex that has mostly grad students. I am 25, male, not married, althletic, social, but also take school seriously. I want a place that is affordable, cool, social, safe, and well maintained. (Yes, I want an ideal place...and coming from the Boston area, I think Durham has all of this to offer!) I guess my concern is that I dont want to be isolated from the rest of my classmates who I will be interacting with the most while in class. It would be nice to live in the relative area that my soon to be friends will also be. In talking to a few people, these are some of the places mentioned: Pinnacle Ridge, West Village, University Apartments, Popular Manor, North Pointe Commons, The Belmont, and Colonial Village at Deerfield. Thought, comments, general info..please?? Help me pick a place. I also think I would like to live in a single apartment, at least for the first 6 months, as not to jump into anything.someone that I may regret later!! Thanks. I hope I posted this correctly?
