i had an embarrassingly low gpa in my undergrad. i've heard back from the dept that i applied to saying that they drafted a letter to graduate admissions that i'm a great candidate and they want me for the program, but they aren't certain what the university will decide since i'm a "special admit." any advice/experience regarding this?
