Got an offer from RI@CMU program. In addition, a research lab (not a top lab now like those in Google, Microsoft ) in the bay area has offered me a full-time position. I'm quite interested in the sci.&tech. for intelligent robotics. RI at CMU is no doubt one of the best places for doing research in this filed. On the other hand, being a scientist in the lab in SV is also attractive - the job includes coming up with new ideas and writing patents, publishing papers, going to conferences in computer vision and AI. Seems both options are quite attractive. Could anyone provide any suggestions on it?
