Have friends that went over to the UK for the Masters. They loved the experience but are disappointed now that they are being told by some of the PhD programs they will need to redo a masters over here first.

I applied to only two schools this fall, both with Dec 1. deadlines. Already been rejected from 1 school and getting nervous seeing people post about the other school and I still haven't heard anything... Can't decide if I should just wait or if I should ask?
