Well,yeah, but I mean are those particular programs completely separate? Is there a different commitee for the "Applied" applications,or they do admit first no-matter-what-their- interests- are and then you choose your track?

Does anybody know if the admission procedures in Pure and Applied math are separate? I mean,do you apply in the Math Department and you later have the option to follow the Applied Math track? Thx in advance!
