Hey there, I hate to be obnoxious, but I was looking over posts and I saw some of yours. Figured I might reach out and ask you a few questions.  I am applying to U of C (April 1 deadline) among other schools and while I know that I missed the earlier deadline and does not likely help my chances, I was wondering what your undergrad/work experience looked like.  I am in a unique situation as the beginning portion of my undergrad experiences was abysmal largely due to mental health concerns, while the second half, in which I transferred to a new school, was significantly better, as I was able to get a 4.0.  As an addict needing to remain near my sober network, I only applied to schools in Chicago as my sobriety remains my number one priority, and as such, I applied to two schools that I am actually interested in (U of C and Loyola). Just trying to get a better idea of what your background might have looked like.  I know it doesn't mean much as far as my chances go, but I'm anxiously waiting and I am just trying to gather as much information as possible. Congratulations on your acceptances by the way.  You should be quite proud of yourself! Any help would be much appreciated!
