I was accepted into the Audiology doctorate programs at several schools, but I've narrowed it down to Illinois State, University of Texas at Dallas, and San Diego State. UTD is a top-ranked school, but I'm getting a HUGE chunk of funding from Illinois State. And SDSU has programs/opportunities that sound wonderful.
How do I choose? I wouldn't mind paying the extra money for UTD if I knew that it would help in the long run (get a better externship, better job, more pay, etc.) Plus, I currently live in Illinois, and I'm not a huge fan - even if I stayed for school, I'd be outta here the second I'm done. I know that each school will give me the basics about what I need to know......but do the prestige/opportunities/facilities of a school matter in the long run??
