I think both programs are equally reputable and have been around for a long time. I was wait listed at CSULA and accepted to CSULB. I'm wondering if there's a way to check out the percentage and stats of students who have graduated from these programs and their ability to find a job? That's what I care most about, job opportunity! Especially in this economy.
I am concerned about the same thing as well. I've been researching and have yet to find valuable information. Please let me know if you find anythig regarding these two schools.

I was also put on the pending status. It is very inconsiderate of them to think we can wait around while we need to make significant decisions.

Jaypea09: I just wish I would have asked how we would be notified. I feel even if we are accepted it might be by email, how will we receive a letter today or tomorrow if they are not done with decisions?
Did she tell you how we would be notified?
I didnt ask either. Maybe someone else can call and ask? Either way im just glad that the wait will be over soon.

Okay everyone I just called Whitney as well, she said we should hear back from UCLA TODAY or TOMORROW!!!! Oh my gosh I am beyond nervous now, as if I was not already. Just like "JessMSW" stated, Whitney said they were reviewing applications on a "rolling basis." So then I asked what a "rolling basis" meant and she said that just means reviewing applications at random. So the rest of the applicants should hear from UCLA today or tomorrow and if not she suggested to give her a call.
I called Whitney before I read this and that is exactly word by word what she told me. OMG good luck everyone!

ok you guys... I caved in and called just now. I wanted to know if it's all bad news for those of us who haven't heard. Whitney said that they are sending out decisions on a rolling basis and so there is still a chance that we have been admitted.
Did she happen to give you a time frame? Lol, I was about to call.

LOL! I did too!!!!! I woke up and checked my email for a weird reason it felt kinda nice to not be waiting! Ugh! I just want an answer.
Same here. The feeling of things being out of my control is what stresses me out. Lets keep our fingers crossed and keep a positive mindset.

May I asked when you applied?
I'm waiting to hear back too. I called the admin assistant and she said we would hear back between now and next week which is different from hearing back by the end of this week like many have posted, hmmm...?
I'm a nervous wreck! I really don't want that kiss of death email but I'd like to know. If it means I will get in but I have to wait until next week to hear back that's fine too. Haha but the wait and anticipation is killing me. Oh gosh, I'm being so dramatic. I can't wait to get some decent sleep!
I'm sorry for the people who got rejections but congrats to those who got in. I'm envious! Good luck to those still waiting...

I am new to this forum and I am also in the same boat as many of you. I have yet to hear from UCLA, I am on pending status with CSULB, and was accepted into CSULA yesterday. Good luck to all of you.
