Should I email my POI about my status? I emailed him about 3 weeks ago with no reply. Would calling be better? I need to figure out my situation for next year and this wait is not helping. I just don't want to seem to needy. School: UCSB

It's already April. How long do I have to wait?

I did! I emailed my POI and they said that they had already sent out the acceptance and that the person accepted the position. That was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything official. May be a good idea to email them.
