  1. Hi! I am choosing between NYU Global Health Leadership and Columbia Population&Family Health department with a Global Health Certificate. Until last week, I was pretty convinced to attend NYU that accepted my application in early February but then I got accepted to Columbia last Thursday (I thought I had no real options to get in), so now I don't know where to enroll, Columbia is an Ivy league university, it has a school of public health and there would be opportunities for research assistantships to help pay the tuition, (as an international student I can only work on campus), however I haven't receive any funding package until now. I did completed a survey about funding on Monday, but I haven't receive any further information. On the other hand, NYU is a really good university, and they offer me a scholarship of $8000 +$8000 (2nd year) but it doesn't have a school of public health, so I am not sure what to think about that. Does it really matters? Would it be harder to find a job? I also search some professors, and many of them are from Wagner, the school of public service, so I wonder if they are more into policy and management rather than global health. I'll go to prospective students events in both universities in the following weeks, but any insight would be much appreciated.
