Hi, I've done some research into MPP programs, but I'm still at a loss to how strong or weak I am as a candidate. I majored in Economics, so my internship/work experience at school doesn't exactly match up. Also, I graduated this past summer, and, from my impressions, going straight from undergrad isn't a good idea unless you have a really strong application.
I'm interested in utilizing the MPP for work in policy analysis or development, so think tanks and etc., as it matched up to what most interested me in the research/classwork I did at school. The programs that so far interest me are University of Chicago, USC, GW, Georgetown, etc. The specialization that I'm looking into would be domestic policy. What schools should I look into for chances at funding?
Any comments/advice regarding my info or what schools would be an acceptable target for me (as I highly doubt the suitability of the list I compiled) would be greatly appreciated!
