  1. Good to know, thanks for the info!
  2. So are you guys still confused as to the funding situation, and which Apply Yourself letter they are referencing? It kind of sounds like there will be another Apply Yourself letter coming soon: Over the next few days, we will be working with the Graduate School to prepare your official admission offer for viewing in Apply Yourself. When your letter is ready to be viewed, you will receive an e-mail from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. If you have received a scholarship, it will appear as part of your admission letter in Apply Yourself. hmm...and for those waiting, hang in there!
  3. Anybody heard anything reg. $ ?
  4. Yeah goodcat, its a bit weird..
  5. So the letter they sent out earlier today .... the letter they referenced in it, the Apply Yourself letter, "to be released in the coming days" - is that actually just the Apply Yourself letter that was in the portal before they even sent anything??
  6. And still no one has received any funding offers?
  7. Anyone have an email address for the office of financial services? I am out of the country and cannot call them
  8. Well based on what jsbda and DupontCircle have said, it seems that if they didn't mention any funding in the acceptance letter, then you were indeed stiffed...
  9. @aquarius nope nothing yet, hopefully soon...
  10. List of Pros and Cons, anyone? I've seen some great ones on here already...
  11. Accepted as well, but no funding information...the wait never ends!
  12. When will we hear back? Does anyone have any insider knowledge?
  13. Yup, I'm in the same situation (though not from Boston, so would have to pay for an apt.) Also leaning Fletcher due to $$. Fletcher is an amazing school, and while Bologna is certainly sexier than Somerville, I really like Fletcher and the money pulls me towards them. Others with insight? Also, any idea when we'll hear from MSFS?
  14. Hi all. I've come out of the woodwork as acceptances have started coming in, and I'm starting to need to make decisions. I've been accepted to a few of my top choices for international affairs MA programs. However, I am currently enrolled in another program in Germany, which would give me a European studies MA this coming September. The timing doesn't work out, obviously, and I had really only enrolled here since I was already abroad and needed to have something to do while waiting for my top schools to get back to me... I had initially considered dropping it, going back to the States for the summer, working and saving up some money to start school in the fall. But now that I have done more than half of the program, I'm wondering if I should stick it out and finish, and start at Fletcher or where-have-you in January. Any advice? How would coming a semester late impact things like (academics/course scheduling) (social life/fitting it/friends) (transitioning in general into the school) Any prior experience with delayed enrollment and/or 1 semester deferment? Any comments on whether a German MA in European Studies in addition to my Intl Affairs MA will even ever be of any use? (Im interested in working for State or an IO like UN, OSCE) Thanks for the help guys.
