I had problems ordering score reports online. I kept getting an error message that said the information I was entering (directly from the score report) did not match their records. I called customer service (on hold for 15 minutes). It turned out that I had set up my online account at their site without using my middle initial, which was on the score report. So if anyone is having problems with the online system, make sure your online account is set up in name that is absolutely exactly the same as the score report.

Most people applying to any kind of history or liberal arts program will not have that kind of quantitative ability. You should try to frame your research interests to highlight that as a special, unique skill.

Can you believe that? I won't bore you with my credentials, but I am a very good writer. The rest of my application will show that score for what it is--a bizarre fluke--but I'm still a little miffed by it. What could possibly have gone wrong?

I have been undecided whether to apply to graduate school in English or History, and signed up to take the English Subject Test months ago. I took it in October, did pretty well (730), and had the scores sent to five schools. I wish I had thought ahead and not sent the scores anywhere. Of course, I've now decided to apply to all those school in History, and I'm worried about how it is going to look to have subject test scores from another field on the report. Anyone else in this situation?
