Was it an acceptance?
I applied last year as well, and was notified of rejection on March 26th or so (via status checker).
UofT rejected me on April 3rd (word of mouth), but officially, closer to the 12th.
My applications weren't very strong last year. I didn't put much thought into the statements and was simply testing the admissions waters. Hopefully this cycle will prove more fruitful.

Yea I'm also probably out as well, or wait-listed perhaps.
To the question about York MA program, I don't believe they've notified anyone yet, but I applied to their MA program last year and heard back around March 20 I believe.

There's a post on the results page saying TO has notified. Could be fake though.
I know for a fact that the post about U of T is true.

Rumor has it both U of T and Mac have made their decisions. We should be hearing soon any day now.

I applied to 4 different schools (MA) last year and most of my responses came in late March/early April as well. Although I did get one in a Feb. But York responded at the end of March. I Think these are also the first round of acceptances. They send out second and third ones later - I got one response all the way in June, so you never know!
Last year I applied to MA programs at both York and Toronto. Toronto let me know in late March and York let me know the first week of March. I think it's roughly the same for PhD applicants, maybe a little earlier in the case of Toronto.

So I've gotten my responses from all graduate schools and I didn't get in anywhere. Last year, when I went into my MA, I sent my LoR writers ''thank you" notes, and let them know where I would be going. I'm not sure I should be doing the same here, but I also don't really want them to think I was ungrateful or anything since I may be needing their letters next year again. I'm just not I have anything to thank them for in this case either, or I also don't really want them to know I got rejected everywhere. Does anyone else have experience with this, what did you do.. if anything?
