Does anybody know if Yale is open today? Are they really going to wait longer to release the rest of their decisions? really?

Also in at UCSD. Im super stoked. Did anybody get funding details or is the "further details in a letter by March 1" standard?

For some reason Harvard makes you do it. It's the only school of those that I applied to that requires it. Filling it out was pretty quick for me - all zeros!

There were some acceptances from Yale on the first Friday in February last year. Of course they were overwhelmed by rejections. But I have a nasty feeling that's just the trend... In any case, stay strong comrades!

No Yale today ?

I've been lurking without posting during this hellish process. But I cannot hold out any longer. My bet is that we will get the emails from Yale next friday (feb 5). I also just received my first response - accepted at madison (also a comparativist, though not eastern europe thank god ). Good luck in the coming weeks. Peace be with you all!
