statistics is my dream

Hi guys, I recently got a result from columbia university MA in stat, they put me on wait list I know that this program doesn't really have very good reputation compares to its brand However, it is still my dream school. Can anyone tells me what can I do when I am on the wait list ? I would love to try whatever I can to enhance my chance to be accepted ! Will be really appreciated for your help !
