Finally heard back--I've been admitted to the health/mental health program.

I've still not received a notification as to whether or not I have been admitted. My guess is, like some of you who were waiting for an extended period of time, I have not been admitted this fall. Anyway--Is anybody still waiting for a response?

I recall reading on an SJSU-related page that they could notify us as late as June, so perhaps a significant lapse of time is normal...Though really inconvenient and a bit frustrating.

I completely agree--We DO need to plan our lives, so a timely response would have been very much appreciated. Sigh.

I sent Barry Goldman-Hall an e-mail inquiring about the status of my application a couple of days ago, and he wrote "Your application is complete and in review." My guess is those of us who have not yet heard back have been wait-listed. If that's the case, then we still have a chance to be admitted. I hope we are!

I just called the department and they said that applications are still being processed--I'm hoping to receive a call soon!
