Recently admitted to M.S. program in applied math at UMass Amherst. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what life is like in Amherst. Rent will be much higher than where I would be moving from (Tallahassee, FL), how do people handle that? What kind of things are there to do around campus/Amherst? Thanks!
