  1. I think we determined that the "no e-mail" policy was adhered to by SSHRC. Also, I spoke with my PhD friend and she did find out from the department.
  2. Sorry, I could be wrong there. Maybe they received e-mails from the department.... the process was probably the same as GradSchoolCat. Either way, I though you guys would like to know that they found out.
  3. Glad to see other people also got e-mails! My two friends that found out were PhD students at Queen's. They both received e-mails from SSHRC this morning (and so did the department). Best of luck to everyone.
  4. Hi All, I know a few people that have received e-mails from SSHRC today saying that they have either been "Accepted" or "Recommended but not Funded" (waitlisted). Hope that helps.....
  5. Hi all, I was a SSHRC alternate at Queen's and my status changed to "Offered" on April 16th. As with others, I received an e-mail from Reserach Portal to notify me that my status had been changed. What a relief! Hope that helps a bit with this whole Alternate/Offfered mystery. Seems as though Queen's is also doing the whole "offer as others decline" method.
