I am an undergraduate student majoring in finance, and after graduation from statistics master program I plan to work in finance industry.
Now I am making final decision from these two statistics programs:
UNC-Chapel Hill's MS instore, which has low student-to-faculty rate and gives more attention to students.
Columbia U's MA stat, which locates in NYC(more chances but at the same time many other competitive programs) and has a big name.
UNC-CH is more selective than CU and has a much smaller program.
What matters more in looking for internship and jobs? A good program or a good location?
Is there many opportunities in North Carolina, e.g. research triangle, charlotte?
BTW, I also have two master of finance offers: UCSD and JHU. What about these two?
Thank you!
