Waitlisted: SFS Ultimate Decision & Why: My ultimate decision is SAIS - while I'm heavily indebted from undergrad, I have one shot to pick the best school I could get into. While SIPA gave me more money, SAIS' integrated language approach as well as the 'double major' of econ and something else drew me. Plus I am so ready to leave New York. Advice for Future Applicants: Do not overestimate what kind of funding you expect. Base your plans off of getting nothing, and then be pleasantly surprised if something comes through. Also, do research before applying on what the programs are like from current students, rather than marketing materials. I would have saved myself the money on some schools.
Most importantly, go somewhere where you'll be happy with your decision!
