I'm an international student, interested in applying to the GTU's doctoral program for entry next year. It seems to be strong for the area of philosophical theology that I'm focused on, but - as someone not extremely familiar with the US system - I just wanted to get a sense of the perception of the GTU. Rankings and admissions stats for the GTU are difficult, if not impossible, to find online. What is the institution's overall reputation? What would the job prospects be for someone coming out of there with a PhD? Does anyone have any idea how selective their doctoral program is? My sense is that the admission rate is relatively high (?) because funding is very limited. I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on any of these issues, particularly from current and recent doctoral students at the GTU. Thanks!
