So i took the gre's last january 2014 and got a 143 on Verbal and 149 on quant. why are some schools saying they are requiring a minimum combined score of 900? and a minimum of 400 for each section??? (for example,East Carolina U) did they change the score scale? Thanks for the help

Hey guys, so I'm new at this grad cafe thing. Its my third time, yes I'm barely alive that I'm applying to grad schools for speech pathology/communication disorders. I have a great GPA and a nice list of community service. Ive been out of school for a year now and am working as a teachers assistant (which is awesome) but my passion is still speech. My GRE scores were horrible (took them twice). So i guess I'm just hopeful now that I've been around the block with this application process. Reg
