    Applying for Fall 2015

Hi everyone, I'm in a similar situation. I've decided to accept the offer from a specific school, but I don't want to be rude with the other professors, especially since one of them is very important in my area.

Nothing yet. Although a professor, out of nowhere, started following me on Academia.edu. I know it's dumb, but it was really exciting!

Good luck, plasticities! And thanks for clarifying the point about Berkeley, Phoenix King and Karajan.

Thank for sharing your experience, music, it will be most helpful--in case of getting an interview, of course. I'm going to reread some articles, just in case!

Thank you both Karajan and Counterpointer. I had considered an interview at Penn, but not at Pitt or Berkeley. I imagine that they will ask me why I want to pursue a Ph.D., my academic interests, and so on.

Does anyone know which universities interview? Regarding my applications, as far as I know, Michigan and Penn are the only ones that interview. I'm right? Anyway, what should I expect from an interview?

Thanks! Good luck to you too! The first answers should be in January, right? At least for interviews.

    Applying for Fall 2015

Hi everyone, How important is contacting professors before applying? I have contacted many professors and they all answered me with different levels of encouragement. Greetings from Latin America!
