  1. Yes, I contacted Sue Brady and she said 10 were put on the waitlist. She said if we want to know what number we are then we need to call up first week of April but not before then and they will not be releasing what number you are on the waitlist until then.
  2. Maybe I should clarify... they have started organizing the applications as in making a file for each applicant and gathering their info and making sure their application is complete and they have everything they need (transcripts, resume, CV, personal statement etc.) However, they did not start reading it yet ... thats what I was told. She also allowed me to email her an updated copy of my resume/CV yesterday because she said they didnt read them yet. If you want to submit an extra resume/CV with extra hours I would email Angela ASAP to do it ... they let me do it yesterday!
  3. I found that out because I called and spoke to Sue Brady on the phone today (admissions from Carelton) and she told me. They accept 25 people. They get about 400-500 applicants.

  5. I could be wrong .... but this is what I was told ...
  6. For people waiting to hear back from 2 year at U of T I spoke to Angela. She said they have not read over applications yet for the 2 year ..... For people who got waitlisted at Carelton for 2 year, you should be very proud of yourself! They only put 10-12 people on the waitlist.
  7. It doesnt say it, BUT if you want your academic referees to be credible and valuable then they should be a PHD grad (its an unwritten rule)
  8. Thanks for sharing this exercise with us. It sounds very helpful. My anxiety has been over the roof with not knowing and the anticipation of finding out. I will be sure to try this!

  10. Does anyone know anyone who got into U of T with a B+ in research methods?
  11. Anyone feel that U of T sends out their admission decisions based on highest score? That is my theory. I know other grad programs that do the same ... What do you guys think? Also - do you think its too late to update my resume and resend an updated version?
  12. Me too! The waiting is driving me nuts. I applied to similar schools as you btw
  13. My alternative plan is taking a few more undergrad courses at york - hoping to get an A+ in all of them or A to boost my GPA more, and continue my volunteer work and reapply
