Hi everyone! Due to a series of life circumstances, I'm finishing my bachelor's degree online through Indiana University. I will receive a Bachelor of General Studies degree (BGS) when I finish. I'm hearing so many mixed things about my grad school prospects with a BGS degree. I'm currently planning on getting an MAT to teach high school mathematics. Will a BGS hurt my chances of admission? If you cant speak specifically to chances of admission to an MAT program, what about grad school in a more general sense? Obviously my personal statement covers the circumstances that led me to this point. Thanks!
