I took the general GRE exam a few weeks ago and got 160Q/160V/4.5AW. Thinking that I could score higher on the quantitative section, I retook it yesterday and got 162Q/153V (no AW score yet). Any thoughts which set I should submit?
I'm applying to a good CS school. Undergrad GPA at an "unknown" school was 3.8, a part-time grad GPA (in progress) at that school I'm applying to is 3.8 as well. I think I have strong recommendation letters.
I'm very much done with the GRE, and am sort of in disbelief that any schools would pay much attention to it, especially that a test taker could have huge variations on the scores (especially verbal, it seems). My POWERPREP II scores were 165V and then 157V. Honestly, I think I'd rather spend my free time on other things than studying for the GRE again.
