  1. I also haven't heard from my school yet. It makes me a little bonkers, because the deadline has passed and all my other opportunities are gone. But I think, like twin guy said, some schools just want to get their cohort straight before starting the next round of paperwork.
  2. Has anyone decided to accept here? UMontana was my choice, just wondering who I'll be meeting in a few months.
  3. Can someone tell me how many less St. Cloud is accepting this year? I keep hearing this mentioned but I don't know about it. I think the normal cohort size for them is 14-18? Also, does anyone know why?
  4. Hello, I'm one of the people who received a call today. I was left a message, but am working a double today and won't be out until after the school closes. I know that in my message, I was told that SCSU starts their spring break next week and no one will be in, and was asked to call back with my questions. I got the vibe that SCSU is feeling out their prospective candidates to see who is likely to accept and who is not. I'm sorry I don't have more info, but I'm a distance candidate and most of what I know about them is limited to what I read on gradcafe and what I read from SCSU's website. Good luck! I hope to meet you in the future!
  5. Wow, reading this is giving me some real curiosity! I interviewed yesterday via Skype, so I did not get a chance to view the facilities or meet anyone. I also have no idea of how many people were there. Sounds like a lot, though. Anyone have an estimate?
  6. I found this great website for getting in the zone for interviews. http://www.uwgb.edu/careers/skills/interviewing-graduate-school.asp Hope everyone finds it as helpful as I did!
  7. I have an interview on the 27th as well! Yay! Any info turn up about this school? Thanks!
  8. I am also nervous about this. I had two professors lined up for LORs, but one of them had a medical problem and so she is not writing LORs this year. I had to scramble for a last minute LOR and now have two professional LORs (I used to be a teacher), and one faculty from someone whose on-campus clinic I had an assistantship in. I'm hoping I didn't just blow a lot of money applying. But now I have several months to mull it over.
